Verde Mountain - Morgan Horse Farm Earrings

Sold by Verde Mountain
$30.00

The wood for these earrings was harvested at the Morgan Horse Farm's 127 acres overlooking Otter Creek in Weybridge, Vermont. The Morgan horse breed traces its origins to the activities of Justin Morgan, who purchased Figure in the 1790s. The breed saw widespread use throughout the United States in the 19th century. In 1905, the USDA established a breeding program on the campus of UVM in Burlington. Two years later, it moved to this property, donated by Joseph Battell, founder of the American Morgan Register. The facilities were turned over to the University of Vermont in 1951.

These are a dangle style with stainless steel wires that are 100% nickle free.
