Higgins Burnt Garlic Hot Sauce & Marinade

$7.50

A brown sugary, savory sauce with just a bit of heat. It has a thick and chunky consistency with a hot & bold garlic finish. It sounds crazy, but we char the garlic until it's browned up and burnt so when its added to the sauce it gives it a "fresh off the grill flavor" without the grilling! Marinading or dipping, this sauce is good anyway you wish to use it.

The search for the best hot sauce is over.

I first tried Higgins Burnt Garlic hot sauce in 2017 when in Vermont on Vacation from Hunger Mountain Co-op. I had been on a hot sauce kick for the prior year trying to find the best hot sauce. Out of literally EVER hot sauce I have ever tried - Burnt Garlic is my personal favorite and the best ever. To my chagrin, at the time they did not have an online ordering option and trying to get it shipped from the only co-op I knew of was problematic. Luckily, Higgins began using A Slice of Vermont for online ordering and I have been getting my fix through this site. Thank you Higgins for using ecommerce as I will continue to be a purveyor of your hot sauce for years to come.

Mouth watering good!

I am so glad I found Higgins hot sauce! I put A1 or Heinz 57 sauce on everything... Up until I came across this at a local cider mill. I went to school with Tim, so I bought it to give it a try and support an old high school friend. And I'm glad I did! I have been hooked every since. The burnt garlic is my go to, and the skillet scraping is a very close second. It is then perfect amount of heat. So if you're looking for a flavor explosion and a perfect pairing with just about anything you eat, look no further!
